Okay so we have all seen the fabulous diamond jewellery that Elizabeth Taylor owned and wore. However she also had several lines of fashion jewellery that she gave her name to that was just costume pieces. In the 1990s she endorsed fashion jewellery with her own brand of White Diamonds perfume and also with the company Avon. Today her perfume is still very popular and they are still producing jewellery for the gift sets available.

Again produced in the early nineties this stunning pair of faux pearl earrings. Matching the brooch. They are signed with “WD”
There is a pearl drop brooch produced similar to the earrings. It is unsigned and I just wonder if this is a latter piece from Elizabeth Taylor as unfortunately as the years progress many items were not marked or signed. Or it may be just a copy produced by another company altogether.
If we have find other Elizabeth Taylor jewels – we will be adding them to this blog for you to see. Since her death and sale of her estate. Many companies now have copies of her real personal collection of her jewellery as well.

Dear Sue, I am amazed at your knowledge of vintage costume jewellery and often look up things on your blog. However, I wonder if there is any page where one can ask ab jewellery marks, you or your readers.I have an Art Deco style rhodium plated metal bracelet with paste rhinestones where on each link there are stamped letters which are almost totally worn off. I think the bracelet is from the 1950s and the mark looks like initials which I cannot recognize. I'll be very grateful for any help in pointing me anywhere or to anyone who can help identifying the signature. Thank you in advance.
